A number of assignments in my class require the students to access a number of internet sites.  I want to make sure your child is safe while on the worldwide web.  Please read over this article to learn ways to keep your child safe on the internet.

One way to take an active approach with your child is to read with your son or daughter and have meaningful discussions (long or short) about its content while doing homework, at the dinner, table, or even in the car ride to school.  Below is a link to purchase our next novel, The Landry News.  I encourage you to buy the book and read with your child.  It will show him or her that you care and you want them to succeed.

This is a brief synapses I will have your child read at the start of the novel.  Feel free to read it, too, before you begin so you have a better idea of the book’s contents.
